Period is a folder, not a global filter
Opening a close month does not change Bank Feed, Review, or Reports. Only pages inside that folder are that month.

Proposed is not posted
Bank coding, intake fields, and agent drafts are proposals. Nothing reaches the journal until a person accepts it.

Clear Exceptions before Approvals
An exception often explains the journal sitting in review. Work the machine-blocked items first.

Attach the file that supports the row
A bill, invoice, or bank line without its page is unfinished, even if the amount is right.

Check the sign on every new bank file
A flipped CSV doubles income or expense. Confirm deposits are positive the way this bank means them.

Never edit a posted entry in place
Reverse and re-enter. History stays intact and the audit trail still reads.

Lock the month last
The lock freezes whatever you have. Review, then lock — not the other way around.

Company scope lives in the URL
The entities parameter is the switcher. A pasted link opens the same companies you were looking at.

There is only one ledger
Reports, tiles, and the portal all read the same journal. If two screens disagree, something has not posted yet — or you are in different scope.
