What the figure is
Cash Position reads the cash and card accounts on the chart and the activity posted to them. It is a books figure. A bank app can disagree if the feed is behind, if outstanding checks have not cleared, or if a deposit is still unmatched.
Common questions
Reconcile the operating account first. Uncategorized feed lines and outstanding checks are the usual gap.
